Born in 1963 in Gombe State, the lawmaker is currently serving his first term as a Senator representing Gombe South Senatorial District under the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the 10th Assembly.
Before venturing into mainstream politics, Senator Yaro worked in the banking sector for several years, he was a director with the Fidelity Bank.
