Hon. Usman Zannah was born on September 15th 1964, in Borno State. Hon. Usman is a two-term Member of the House of Representatives in the 10th National Assembly, representing the Kaga / Gubio / Magumeri Federal Constituency of Borno State on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Hon. Usman was first elected as Local Government Chairman of Magumeri from 1998 to 2000 and later Appointed as Caretaiker of Magumeri Local from Government 2006 to 2007, in 2008 he was appointed as Special Adviser on agriculture from 2008 - 2010, and from 2011- 2018, he was appointed as Commissioner of Agriculture, Commissioner of Works and Commissioner of Local Government and Emirate Affairs
