Hon Unyime Josiah Idem
Honourable Unyime Josiah Idem, born on January 14, 1975, is a second-term Member of the House of Representatives. Under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), he won the House of Representatives seat for Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, Akwa Ibom State, in 2019. Similarly, he was re-elected into the 10th Assembly in February 2023.
Before delving into politics, Honourable Idem started in the Business Sector. He bagged his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Uyo. Honourable Idem is pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Leadership at Monarch Business School, Monarch University, Switzerland.
With over 20 years of experience and a track record in the private sector as a successful Manager of Human and Capital Resources, providence interjected the brilliant career with a switch to public service. In 2018.
He was shortlisted as a semi-finalist at the first-ever Most Valuable Parliamentarian (MVP) Hall of Fame, where he received special recognition for valuable and impactful Motions sponsored in the 9th Assembly.
Honourable Idem has attended many global workshops and conferences relevant to his field to ensure self-development.
