Born in 1962. The Lawmaker is currently serving his first term as a Member representing the Itu / Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He was a Member representing Ibiono Ibom State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly from 2011- 2019. He was the Deputy House Leader and Chairman of the Committee on Information in the State Assembly.
